The electric powered 1.5 horsepower and 8 amp motor provides all the power you will need to cut through the limbs up to 10 inches. It will require you to purchase an outdoor use extension cord and the length of the cord you will need depends on the distance your trees are away from an outside outlet.

With tree trimmer you will be able to cut down tree limbs that are small and large (up to 10” in diameter). With the included telescoping fiberglass and aluminum re-enforced pole you will be able to reach tree limbs up to 15 feet off the ground without needing a ladder.

The 10” mini chain saw is attached to the end of the pole using a quick disconnect system and can be removed without using any tools. The chain saw is mounted in a in line configuration so that the motor does not stick out and possibly get hung up on the smaller branches and leaves.

As part of our research we looked through hundreds online reviews posted by consumers the purchased and used the trimmer. From these reviews the Remington pole saw received an average rating of 4.3 out of a possible 5.0 stars. The Remington rm1015p also received overwhelmingly positive comments from the consumer reviews. It did however, receive a small number of negative comments. Several reviewers really liked this saw and the fact that it cut easily through limbs up to 10”. A couple other reviewers liked the telescoping aspect of the pole and that with the inner aluminum pole gave it just enough support to cut down the heavier limbs up to 15 feet off the ground. Apparently a couple of the reviewers that rated it low received defective units and that is why they rated it. Another reviewer thought that it was a bit awkward with the weight of the 10” chainsaw at the end of the pole.
